This Privacy Policy explains how UNION CUT LTD handles information in connection with Beautunion Beauty Care, the Android application published under the package name uk.co.beautunion.care.unioncutd.trimlane.
Beautunion Beauty Care is a planning and checking aid for a mobile beauty therapist. It matches each treatment booking to the client's patch test record and flags any patch test that is due or overdue before the appointment.
The core workflow is local to the device. The application keeps its records in its own storage on the Android device and does not automatically transmit them to the developer.
The application stores its working records locally, inside its own storage on the Android device. These records are the therapist's own entries and may include:
Beside these records, the app keeps its own settings and display preferences and its own interface state, such as the saved list order. It also holds temporary files in its cache, namely the last text file it shared, kept only until the next share replaces it. None of this local content is automatically transmitted to the developer as part of the core workflow, and the core workflow does not require login, an account or personal identity details. Because the records hold whatever the user types into them, local content may contain personal information if the user chooses to enter it.
The records a therapist keeps in the app may contain health information about a client, such as the substances, sites and reactions noted for a patch test. This information stays on the device and is not automatically transmitted to the developer. It leaves the device only when the user chooses to share a result as a text file or to copy it to the clipboard.
Results can leave the app in two ways, both of them started by the user: sharing a result as a plain-text file through the Android share sheet, and copying a result as text to the device clipboard. Nothing is shared automatically, and the app does not place a copy of shared content on any server operated by the company. Once a file or a copied text has left the app, it remains wherever the user sent or saved it, and the app has no control over it.
The app can open external Android services when the user selects an action that needs them, such as a browser, an email client or the Android share sheet. Those external services operate under their own privacy practices. Where a user writes to the company by email, the company receives the email address and whatever the message contains; that correspondence is separate from the records the app keeps on the device.
The app declares one Android permission. android.permission.INTERNET is declared by the framework the app is built with; the app itself makes no network requests, and no other Android permissions are declared for the app.
The application does not include login or account registration, advertising, analytics or tracking, payment processing, subscriptions or other monetisation features, and it does not include third-party service SDKs that receive app data.
Beautunion Beauty Care is a planning and record-keeping aid for a mobile beauty therapist. It matches bookings to patch test records and flags tests that are due or overdue against the 48-hour rule. Patch test timing, substances and reaction notes are the therapist's own working records for planning purposes and are not a clinical assessment of the client. A flagged test is a prompt for the therapist to check and act on; the app does not decide whether a treatment may go ahead, does not assess the client and does not give medical advice. Data is held locally on the device and stays there unless the user shares or copies it.
Local records remain on the device until the user deletes them, clears the app's local data or uninstalls the application. The app provides controls to delete individual records and to clear all local data. Files or text the user has already shared or copied remain wherever the user saved or sent them. Removing the app's local data through Android device settings or by uninstalling the application also removes the app's stored records.
Reasonable measures are used to support the integrity of the application. Local content stays in the application's own storage on the device and is not held on company servers. Users remain responsible for securing their own device and any copies they export or share. No method of electronic storage or transmission can guarantee complete security.
The company is established in England. Users in the UK or the EEA may have rights under applicable data protection legislation, such as access, correction, deletion and restriction of processing, where applicable under law; whether those rights are available depends on whether personal data is processed. Records kept in the app are not automatically transmitted to the developer, so they can usually be managed on the device itself, by deleting individual records, clearing the app's local data or uninstalling the application. The company cannot guarantee instant or absolute deletion of material a user has already shared or copied elsewhere. Users may raise a question or a request using the contact details set out below.
The app is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. The company does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If such information is identified, reasonable steps will be taken to delete it or to address the situation.
This Privacy Policy may be revised from time to time, for example if the app's features or the company's practices change. When it changes, the revision date shown with this policy is updated.
The application is provided by UNION CUT LTD, which is the operator responsible for it.
